Ok so im going to be building a trapizoid shaped box. its and isoscles trapizoid.so the port and subs will be mounted on a slanted surface(70 degrees from the horizontal) and the top of my port is going to be very close to the other side of the box. however the bottom of the port will be at the closest point 3.5 inches away and at the farthest part 6 inches. the port is going to be in the center of the box from the sides. i was wondering if i was going to have enough spacing from the back wall with this port. since i have a variable distance from the back of the box ranging from 1 inch at the closest point to 6 inches at the far point it makes it complicated. just to let you know i have 2 kappa perfect 12.1's in 3.5 net cubes tuned to 34.7 hz.

The blue line represents the shortest point from the end of the port.
the green line represents the farthest point from the end of the port.
is this enough space between the port and opposing side of the box?
i know that 3 inches is a minimum but is this equivilant to 3 inches?
If not what can i do to fix this problem?

the width of your port should be the same distance between any wall of the box at the port entrance. try to put a bend in it or use a slot port

from looking at that picture the end of the port is too close to the wall. you want more space between there.

well it will never be the same because of the shape box im working with and it has to go on the front panel becasue of my install. if i do put a bend in how do i measure the lenght of the port then? do i meanue the longest side, the shotrest side, or down the middle?
