Will 2 Kappa perfect 12.1's sound alright in 3.5 cubes at 38hz? or should i go smaller? or should i go sealed? i want SQL. o by the way in going to be using a 6 inch port for the 3.5.

One of the biggest problems you would run into would be the subs running like they're free-air from all the box size.

so should i go smaller then or what. the best SQL box for these subs is what im looking for. i would like ot be able to hit 140 db

The ideal box size for two of those is what, 1.8 cu feet, or am I mistaken?

1.75 cubes tuned to 32hz for one in a ported enclosure so i figured 2 in a 3.5 but idk it seem really big. and i want a little higher tune because it will yeild a flatter response curve in the end.

I thought it was 1.8 for both, yeah 3.5 is big, but if it's to spec, you can do it, I don't know why not. Tuning is up to you.

ok will do. are you positive i wont over drive a 4 inch port though? infinity calls for a 4 inch port for 1 sub.
