i can tell you what to look for in a kit and let you go from there.
your probably going to want 4 gauge power and ground and a distribution block for each. with 400w and 250w, you may only need 8ga to each amp from the distrobution block, maybe 4ga to the 400 just to be safe. next, you'll probably also need 2 sets of rca's for each amp from your hu (but this depends on how many channels each amp is running). and finally some small gauge remote turn-on wire. and it should also include some terminals for the power and ground. if you can find a "kit" with all this, you should be set.

no one needs a capacitor. with that small of wattage you should be okay, but if there is any evidence of a lacking electrical system (dimming headlights and whatnot), upgrading your battery and big 3 wiring in your engine bay should solve that.

^^ only 14 feet of 5 gauge power (im pretty sure i needed atleast 16 feet in my cavalier), and only 9 guage for the ground. i really wouldn't suggest that kit.

im not saying scosche has gone to sh!t. im just saying i woulnd't buy that particular kit. if they inlcuded a few feet of 5ga for ground, and a few extra feet of power, that would probably be perfect for this guy.

THis is a 4 channel amp kit, now that would work for just the amp thats running the speakers in the car right? Would I need a third rca for the sub?

Will 3 feet of ground wire be enouph for 2 amps? I think I read its best to ground at same spot.

Out of these which am I looking for http://www.knukonceptz.com/productMaster.cfm?Category=Distribution%20/%20Fuse%20 Blocks#

thank you so much for your time

Alright now I'm getting 2 400 watt amps. I'm going to run 4gauge to the trunk, and then get a distributer box. The box to the amps should be what size wire?
