yeah, im pretty sure its 2volts you can use a dmm to check. i wouldnt turn your volume past 3/4 because that is about the cliping point

how many wrms is that amp? also what is the ohm load of the sub.

use this site to get the voltage you need.
http://www.subwoofertools.com/forum/setgain.asp

after you find what voltage you need, get yourself a digital voltage meter and connect it to the sub connecter on the amp. then just simply adjust the gain until you get your target voltage.

the way i do it is i get a 50hz test tone and play it at 3/4 volume. turn off bass boost and set your hu eq at 0. then i start turning the gain on my amp until my target voltage is matched.

i have two type r's (500 rms each) they are 4 ohm dvc's (im running the subs parreleled so its a 4 ohm total load to the amp)

i am talking about the gain on the amp. don't worry about what your preout voltage is on the hu. as long as you match it up to your target voltage you will be fine.

okay i put in the info in to that site and it gave me 49volts. just keep turning the gain back and forth until you see 49v on your digital voltage meter. you have to set that digital meter to ac.
