I noticed when i put my system full blast(with out clippin it of course) it seems like it loses power and gets lower....wtf is goin on?? Do i need to upgrade my alt, and how do i find out the power of my current one?? Thanx guys......

Yup yup, how did i know u were gonna answer chad, lol ha. Thanx. Do u know how i can find out the power of my current alt, cuz i wanna get another more powerful amp but i wanna get one without upgradin my alt.....

just look online for a replacement alt. and it will tell you the amps

just google it. what kinda car is this btw?????

besides unless you have some weak azz stock alt, i think up to 1200wrms is okay.

I have an 03 ford focus sedan. Right now im runnin like around 900rms and im plannin to run about 1400rms.

i'd say it will still be okay. you might want to get a ho alt later but for the time being it will work. i was runnig 2 jl 1000/1 to my stock for awhile until i upgraded to a 280a ho alt.

tj, try testing ur battery when the car is on in park, and see what it says. maybe ur battery needs replaced or maybe its not getting the power it needs.

also look at doing big 3.

Kool ya i still dont know sh!t bout tha "big 3" lol could u explain?? Are they just the wires such as the power and ground??

you can use those. just make sure they are very well protected cause it does get pretty hot in there.
