On the sub pre-outs on my deck, they are RCA jacks. It has left and right sub channel obviously. How do I hook this up to my amp? Just cut off the plug for each channel on the other end of an RCA cable and put it in the right place on the amp?

You can't cut off the RCA plugs, why would you do that?

What amp(model and brand) are you trying to hook up?

It's all hooked up now. I was just baked and mixed up the inputs and outputs on the amp! It's all installed and was working okay except for a problem now which I'll post about tomorrow. Thanks.
