OT- trunk spoiler

i got a trunk spoiler on my 93 toyota celica and its like unsticking from the trunk it uses like this black sticky stuff i think caulk to stick on to the trunk.

and because its unsticking and a little loose it rattles like a mother wen the bass goes up

does anyone know how to make the spoiler stick again?

screw it onto the trunk from the inside of the trunk lid

yea the screws are only on the side and idk it doesnt use any screws to stay on just some black sticky stuff which i think is caulk.......is there like some sort of spray i can spray between the wing and trunk so it can stick together?.....oh and wut is automative grade clear silicone?

my spoiler rattles too, and mines even screwed down, but i think its the wire inside cause it has a brake light in it.

oh ok thanx marc that looks like itll work ill just squeese some of it beneath the wing.....like where do they sell that at?

I was going to mention RTV too, but I don't know how good it would hold. You could probably get it at any automotive store, but I would try NAPA first.

Also, it might strip the paint, but I honestly don't know.

wuts RTV? well i bought some waterproof adhesive i hope it works

Well, when that when that waterproof adhesive fails, get the RTV. Less then $2 a tube at most auto parts stores. Its designed to glue auto parts together, Like Moldings, Emblems, trim, ect. It last forever, and also absorbs vibrations. Good luck.
