I was thinking of either getting the soundstream 1700 watt edge or the hifonics bx16000. I will have them pushing two Kicker 10L7 dual two ohm wired down two a one ohm load. I know both have too much power but I can just turn the gain down. What company makies better amps. I can get a refurbed soundstream for 250 or a brandnew hifonics for 250.
Jake you are right I dont know why I was thinking that so do you think the 850 watts will power the subs good. Or what is another amp besides JL that pushes the same amount of power regardless of the load. Also How will this setup compare to two kicker cvrs 12 getting pushed by a 500/1 jl.
Marshall's JBL is better then both of those and he is selling it pretty cheap. I would deff check into it. If not then I would go with teh xtant over the memphis but thats my prefference.
no the old JBL bp 1200 that Marshall is selling is a very nice amp. He is selling it for 175 I think. I would say it is better then the xtant but again it's all prefference. It was made the last year before JBL sold out they are good amps.
