Hey man, I told you i'd let you know when I got the subs installed and well.... I finally did. I ended up going with two 12" cadence triplex's and a Cadence DCA1000 in a ported box
It sounds pretty sick. Really really clean yet it pounds like hell. i'm not home at the moment but when I do get home i'll post some pics & probably put a video up on ROE ... i'll let ya know when/if I do

ps.- thanks for the advice

honestly.. I couldn't tell you. I'm out on business usually 26 out of 30 days a month so when I was home the other day I went to a local shop and had a guy build it for me. I gave him money said make it sound good and left lol. Picked it up later that day and I was off.
I was in a huge hurry that day so I didn't even have time to bullshit with him about the specs of it, I just listened to it and was happy so I left.
I'll go measure it one of these days and figure out the specs. The guys really cool & he's like a world class box builder. He's been doing it for like 16 years so I trusted him.

Might sound foolish on my part but oh well i'm just way too busy these days

ok soooo you got me curious Logan lol. I just went out and measured the box. I'm not sure how to figure out what its tuned to though.
The internal volume is 3.15 cubic feet & the port is 13.5" high, 2.5" wide and 8" deep. What would that be tuned to? hmmm

Ok I have one last question for you guys. I've been kinda playing with the tuning on my headunit for the subs but I'm not sure about a few of the settings. ( keep in mind, i'm relatively new to the car audio world still )
What should I set everything to so I can still hit those nice low notes but I still want it to sound good on just about every song. It seems like if I tune it good on one song i'll go and play a different song and it sounds a lot worse. Is there like a universal song that people use to tune with or what?

Thanks :o)
