Ok right now I have a 12" RE SX in a 2.5 cubic ft. ported enclosure tuned to 35hz. I was planning on making a dual slot ported box for this one sub and making it 2.5 cubic feet tuned to maybe 33hz. with 39 total square inches of port area. Do you all think this will increase the output of the sub or not?
imo thats too much port area for such a small box. you should just keep it the way it is. if you are not happy with the output right now, you might want to try some aeroports.
