why hate on the new hifonics?

those have proven to be much better then their previous years .. and are much more efficient and true to their power ratings

im pretty sure the new line only does 91% of rated power and that is at 14.4volts so it still isnt that impressive. i would look on different auidofourms for a used amp

new soundstream isnt what it used to be my man .. whatsoever

kicker sx1250...zx1500...kx1200 ... all better all can be found for around the price of that soundstream .. used ... if u look hard enough u might find a new one

jbl bp1200.1 - if u can find it its a beast

depending on the impedance of the cvx if u got that an mtx1501d would be good ... not for the aresenal however

orion 1200d

all good budget amps ... it just takes some time to find which one suits u ... but due to the fact that u dont have electrical upgrades u might have some problems getting full power out of them

i'd go with the kicker 1200.1 ($360 brand new) or ed nine.1 ($315 brand new), or maybe try the new sundown 1500.1 ($450). or a pair of kicker 750.1 or nine.1's would be nice.

but i need an amp that can atleast do 1500 rms, unless kicker is just really overrated or something, the 1200.1 wont really work will it?
what the ed nine.1 run rms @ i ohm?

my kicker 1200.1 says 1490rms @ 1ohm on the birth sheet. the ed is 1200 @ 1ohm @ 12v, on their forum though everyone says they bench between 1400-1500wrms @ 14.4v. i have 2 arsenals, haven't even used them yet, but when i do i'm going to run each with a ed @ 2ohm, chad at ed said they'll each take the 900wrms nicely.

they were meant for my new car, was actually going with maybe 4 of them, but can't afford a new car for a little longer so i'm selling off all my car audio, except for my kx1200.1 and one type r. being a single father kinda sucks when it comes to stuff for myself:-(
