With this amp I replaced the old 8awg power and ground leads with 4awg so it should recieve more current which would make it a little more powerful (not sure how much exactly).

your better off running 2 12w6v2's. 800 watts @ 1ohm

yeah well i didnt' quite have the money to get w6's so i ended up getting 3's, how do you think this would go wiht this, too much power?? cuz i really love the look of this amp and i know its a powerful one from my friend using it back in the day...i'm gettin rid of my orion 1200d and i was just wondering if this woudl be a good replacement for 2 w3's

yes... those subs can handle 400w rms easily

so this amp actually wires down to 1 ohm and would run my w3's pretty well by giving each of them about 400 watts each, cuz if so, i'll be selling my 1200d and hopefully getting this...thanks

it would give them more then 400 it is 800 watts rated at 12 volts. Make sure that it's 1 ohm stable first they made a few model's that wernt.

I ran the amp at 1ohm and listened to it for a half hour every day to school and back and it barely even got hot. Im not just saying that ether. Supposedly the amp is stable at 0.5ohm but I never tryed anythign like that.
