Michael...if you are on a budget, type-r's are a great buy. Stick a pair of 10" R's in 3cuft tuned to around 35hz, give em about 800-1000w and you would have a dam nice daily driver.

as for an amp...something simple like a hifonics bxi1206d would do the trick.

you can get 2 typeR 10's on ebay for about $250 shipped...but if you wanna go a lil and still have some nice bass, you can get a pair of kicker CVR 10's for about $150 shipped right now on ebay. Send the CRVs about 600wrms and you would be in business.

In the right box, you would be surprised how loud 2 10's w/ 600w can get.

def dd 2510's

i think they all have the same structor motor wise, and i think putting a orion 2500d on them would be really nice. or 2 kicker 1200's, or 2 memphis 1000's, or maybe 2 mb raa1000's... etc etc

because i heard the DD's 2500 series get very loud

since you are on a budget...and look for a budget amp.

hifonics will get the job done for either the R's or the CVR's.

R's---BXi1206d rated 1200wrms ~$260shipped
CVR's---TXi7506d rated 750wrms ~$180shipped

about the only place to find CVR's for ~$75shipped each is ebay...Suncoast in Monroe sells then for about $150-160 each. (they are high on just about everything)

You may be able to get a decent price on some crossfire subs at Autotrim in Monroe.

CVR 10's are 300wrms each...that amp 750wrms Hifonics amp is alil overrated, it will prolly give you about 650-700wrms.

you can get it on for $195 shipped here:
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/4353

the bxi1200d (1200w rated...prolly give ya bout 1050wrms) is $250shipped here:
http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/4368

One other thing...Depending on how things work out in about a month or 2...i may have 2 JBL bp1200.1's and 1 RE 35.1 for sale.

ok, looking at that amp...it says 750wattsx1@1ohm...so if i wire all the voice coils up parallel on both subs, does that knock it down to one ohm. . I know that when you have 2-4ohm subs and wire them parallel, that makes the amp see 2ohms...so would 4 voice coils at 2ohms each equal 1ohm? ...oh this is confusing

ok , just looked at cardomain.com. they have a woofer wiring guide where you enter the number of subs and the type of voice coils it shows hooking up parallel by hooking to one positive on each sub, and to the other negative on each sub..for a 1 ohm load, guess I will print that out to make sure I get it right heres the link anyways

http://www.cardomain.com/shop/wooferwizard.pl?num_of_subs=2&impedance_of_subs=4o hm_dvc&x=150&y=12
