New member Username: StangrayPost Number: 1 Registered: Aug-06 | I have a factory HU from a 2006 Explorer installed in my 05 F-150. I am missing a few features. The VSS on the f-150 is on the 24 pin plug (pin 14) The Explorer HU needs the VSS on the middle plug. The 16 pin plug. Does anyone know what pin #. Second, My steering wheel controls do not work. I am guessing it is the same type of problem. Please Help Thanks Stan |

They make adaptors for the steering wheel controls that work with aftermarket head units as well. I don't understand why so many people retrofit newer Ford stereos in their cars. Ford stereos are trash for the most part! |
