has anyone hard of or used "bi-amping"? how does it work and is it worth using. im asking because i have a tight budget and only a 300 watt amp. i think posibly i can get a loulder system if bought another cheep amp, and then bi-amp and i think it would be cheeper.(at least for now)

any advice would be helpful.. thank you

It's used in home audio.

Strapping amps is seemingly what you're talking about. And you have to have two identical amps for it to work plus they have to be designated to do so.

In all honesty, it's not what you're looking for.

By amping is used in high end speakers. One amp two drive the mid bass and another amp to drive the tweets, so the speaker has 4 terminals for this.
