hey ya i played my alpine type X the other day and it blew literally lit on fire lol it was smoking for a good 20min my whole trunk was filled with smoke the sub was on fire lucky my car didnt catch fire lol i was puting 1800wattsrms to it so that fried the cone pretty good i dont like alpine anymore i mean it wasnt even given out that much bass when it blew iam prob get a kickerl5 or L7 or a DD3500's anyone suggest any other subs that can take 2500wattsrms?
