Try the newer ID v.3 series they're cleaner and louder. or the id max v.3. i had a 12" in a ported box with 400watts to it and it Was way too loud..... i downsized to a sealed 10 inch... Very tight response...ID maxes r underrated....
lol even in a 2 c.f^ box tuned to 35hz it was way too loud. The specs say 1K rms and 1.8k peak, but i doubt these subs can hande anything over 1K. when's the v.4 due?
