WHich 12" sub is better?

CAN anyone help me out? im looking for a 12" sub that can out perform a 13w7 both in sq and spl.
I've been told dd 9512, mmatts pro 3.0, re xxx will do da job. Any suggestions!

budget...there are at least 10 subs i can think of that could be better a w7

could any suggest any 1 that would be loud and clean with 800- 1500 watts rms

i think one of your best choices its a stereo integrity mag 15 inch woofer

im thinking about running 2 mmats pro 3.0 or 2 dd 9512's. im spending no more than $1400 on the subs

those DD's should destroy the w7 in spl, sq it would be personal preference and ya the SI mag caomes in 12's but i'd stick with the DD's.

ya there good, but DD is better. if your looking at mmats look at the dreadnaut it would be pretty even with the w7.

i cant seem to find the xmax figures anywhere for the mmats or dd to compare with the w7. which series in the dd do u recommend? (keep in mind... 12 inch only)

hey, Derek isn't the xxx a pure spl competition sub. Im looking for an intermediate(between daily driver and competiton) but not a pure spl sub.

WHAT'S the rms like? can a single 12 out perform the 13w7 which would be better sealed or ported?

xmax is overrated.

it is all about the subs motor.:-)

i have seen subs get louder than other subs with half the xmax.

it is all about the power behind the stroke...not how long the stroke is....although it helps.

i would have to go with either the XXX, or 9512.

although i am told the Crystal Comps are very nice. and the CompX's are supposed to get even louder.

you could also check out the TC Sounds 3K
