I was wondering if it is possible to connect my car sub/amp to my home receiver at home. I have a 10" mtx thunder 4500 sub, along with a mtx thunder 202 amp both for about 250watts each...i have a 10 amp ac to dc converter that puts out about 250 watts, is it possible to route that to my receiver??

Yep. Search the board and you'll find the answer...I'm tired of having to retype it.

ok...well i know how to connect it all...but say my sub runs at 4 ohms, and my receiver runs at 8 ohms, will that still work?

Yeah, as long as you're not running your subwoofer directly off your receiver, but rather through the car amplfier.
