im replacing my old factory speakers, they were 10 ohms each, i am planning on getting a new set (4ohms each) and amp them, is it possible for me to just hook them up the same as the old ones were, with the old factory wires and stuff till i get my amp?

so are you using new speakers or old ones right now? If you're using old ones you should be ok as long as the ohm load doesn't go below 4ohm per channel. If using aftermarket speakers than you should be an easy. If you're asking on the wiring, you should be ok also.
