Does anyone know how much it cost to send a 12w6v2 back to jl to get fixed?

Probably a lot, if they even do recones. How much did the sub cost you? It may make more sense to just get a new one, or upgrade to something else for around the same price.

I asked JL the same question a few weeks ago(found a seized/frozen w6v2 on ebay I was thinking about fixing), here was the response:

"The repair cost is 190 dollars plus one way shipping. It includes the replacement of all moving parts. If you want it repaired , take it to an authorized dealer and they can send it in for repair."

If you don't believe me, call or email them: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/support_pages.php?page_id=130

Email response takes about 2-3 days, sometimes longer so I suggest calling.
