I have 2 12 inch Kenwoods W3005 and i have them in my ford f150 hooked up to a pioneer 760 watt amp.... (yea i know the amp is weak) lol The subs hit hard but when i turn the volume past 20 they will cut out... Is my amp to weak? Any help would be appreciated thanks!
its a little thing called distortion, you probably have a stock head unit, get a new HU so u can set the bass control, loudness, etc. to how loud you want it without it sounding like sh1t. its not your amp.
distortion is where the subwoofer is being pushed too hard and it sounds bad. I don't have too much experience with car amps, but maybe the ohm load is too low. That happened to my reciever one time.
