how do I figure out how much displacement the bracing is going to take up inside the box?

also, which type of bracing do you guys recommend? .. i saw a few different ones but I was thinking of going with triangles in the corners

height x width x depth and your answer will be in cubic incher so you have to convert it to cubic feet

use pieces of MDF in the middle of the box. shaped like 2x4's for a general idea.

wth else would you need?

MDF braces work fine.

An enclosure that small will be fine with little or no bracing if you use 3/4" MDF. However, if you are really going to power the hell out of it with thousands of watts and plan to compete SPL with it, you can put a cross of mdf in the middle.

oh alright... I'm only gonna be putting 1000 watts to it & its just a daily driver... sooo

I was just thinking along the lines of "better safe than sorry" i'll probably just put a little bit of corner bracing here and there

try doing a counter sink. that way you will have 2 layers which will be really tough.

haha. 2x4 was just a generality. lol

you can cut them anyway you wish to brace the box.

i have pieces in mine that are then screwed into place from the outside of the box.

ok so I didn't want to just have a plain square but but I don't wanna deal with fiberglass yet right... So I guess here's my solution.
http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/5013/box1gf5.jpg

I just did a quick 3d rendering of what i'd like it to look like. Angled Slightly inward and upward with the amp mounted vertically in the center.
This brings up a few more questions though. I'm not exactly sure how to calculate the internal airspace with these shapes. Can someone help me out?

Also since I only want about 1.25 cubes per sub I just planned on making the center amp part sealed off from the rest.

Is this a good or shitty design? Any input is greatly appreciated
