What should i get?

New member Username: Clone19Post Number: 1 Registered: Aug-06 | hey guys im new to car audio, and dont really know much. i was hoping someone could guide me as to which head unit to buy, and if i need an amp or speakers or a subwoofer or anything else for the head unit to work. i have a nissan maxima 2000. im looking for a basic head unit, with mp3/wma/etc capabilities, that has a line in jack for my ipod without having to buy the special wire, and a decent equalizer. i dont want to spend more than $120, but if theres something really good that's worth the money i might think about it. if anyone could help me out, id really appreciate it. |

Silver Member Username: DkchillinVermont Post Number: 211 Registered: Mar-05 | That's not a lot of money for a decent HU, but in that general price range you might want to look into the Pioneer 4800. You might be able to find it for around $120 on ebay. |

New member Username: TommyoPost Number: 2 Registered: Aug-06 | Hey whats up i've been looking around a bit for a head unit for my car. 1997 mazda 626 lx v6 possibly speakers also four 6x8's/5x7's and two 1"tweeters in the front i want to keep the price cheep for the head unit nothing more than 200 bucks canadian i was thinking eclipse cd1000 or panasonic cqc1333 maybe the cheap alpine too not too sure and also i want to be able to get these at either visions, a&b sound, future shop, best buy, krazy kileys, audio warehouse. so aka somewhere available and not online. if anyone can help a brother out that would sure help thanks. |
