Mounting amp on sub box

i was reading one of the posts and it say something about "Its stupid to mount an amp on your sub box" why is this????

as long as you build a strong, sturdy box it will be fine. ive always mounted my amps on my boxes.

if you have any mdf left over put your amp on that and then mount that piece to the box. that should prevent it from rattling apart

get a piece of MDF between the amp and your box, that's your best call...

Cover your box entirely in a foam-rubber covering lol, THEN mount the amps to the boxes.
