Does the box your subs r in have anything to do with blowing them

since i got this big a** ported box for 2 12' cvrs ive already blown three of them and im not overpowering them to much i had a mb quart raa1000 on them. could it be because of the box because in the manual it says they take less power when there in a ported box so is that possible or what could be the problem

yes, if the box is too big, the sub will think its playing free air, and have too much excursion which will lead to it bottoming out, which will eventually cause it to blow, or you box is tuned to high, like 50hz and you play a lower hz like 35hz when this happens the sub again thinks its free air and will have too much excursion.

so im pretty much fu*ked cuz i dont got no money so i cant get another box and one of the subs is bout to blow and i cant get another on of them either

You could add bracing or even just put in blocks of wood and decrease the volume size of the box.
