i'm looking for 2 10inch subs to put under the rear seat in my silverado. here are some of the subs i've been looking at.
jl w6v2 RE sx kicker L7 kicker crx alpine type-r
i've also thought about raising the rear seat so i could fit 2 jl w7. would it be worth the work or should i just get something else? what is everyone's suggestions.
Im not sure about most of those but the SX is not a sound quality sub.. same with the l7. And the w6v2 has AMAZING sound quality, i hear the diamond audio d6 is directly compared to the w6v2, so i assume the d9 would be similar (just alot louder)
diamond d9...i know a guy that hit 138 dbs with one 12" ported and kicker 1250.1 amp running it...and it sounded great...ud be very happy with 2 10" d9's...more sql than anything tho
whoever says SX are just pure spl are crazy lol.. you'd be quite suprised for how good they sound.. but back on the subject. you can port the box for under your seat but you'd have to build a raised false seat... guess its a trade off for getting loud. i just did away with the whole back seat, figured if ima have more than 2 passangers they can ride in the back of the truck ..
