New HU wine????

k...i must have installed like a million hu's but today the strangest thing happend....after i was done...everything turned on right...but after 3 mins of playing...the speakers started letting off a high pitched wine....turned the car off..and it still was letting off the wine...after about 2min the wine stopped...but if any of u guys have had this problem what did u do to fix it....Thanx

usually if speaker wire grounds out someplace it'll fry the internal amp...

no idea what could cause the problem though.

have you tried putting it in another car or just like a mock up on a bench if you got some speakers and a battery laying around?? that would elliminate any possibility for interference and you'd find out if the HU is messed up or not.
