Neither will get louder. They are the exact same sub except for the resistance of the voice coils. You need to pick which one you need depending on what amp you have or plan to use. The DVC 2 ohm can be wired to 2 ohms or .5 ohms. The DVC 4 ohm can be wired to 4 ohms or 1 ohms. Buy your amp accordingly.

Isn't it:

2ohm DVC can be wired to 4 ohms or 1 ohms?

4ohm DVC can be wired to 8 ohms or 2 ohms?

Ok well i have the Kicker zx1000.1 amp which is benched at like around 1200 so the amp is 2 ohm stable. How would u wire the 2 subs tho. like would i have to wire each sub to its own resistor or can i bridge both subs together onto one resistor. I wanna make sure i dont blow the amp or sub so does it matter how i do it
