u all never heard an atomic apxx right??? u all heard only the apx ummmm i think if u had heard it u consider the apxx number 1 in spl also the jackhammer its for sq too u can change the coil to spl or sq, and the alpine type r its for sq????????? ummm i think everyone luvs the cvr better because they get louder and cleaner, and wat about the rl-s??? they have so muchhh sq than the rl-p they will beat the rl-p in sq and spl by alot, ummm and i forgot wat about the tc sounds tc3000???

i dont think the mmats will be killin all of those except for the kicker solo x and yeah the jugernaut its louder and cleaner than the mojo but yeah i luv those memphis mojos
memphis mojos sound like crap worse then any L7 ive heard ... and i wasnt impressed with their spl or sq ... ive heard a cvx's and l7s decimate that sub and sound BETTER doing it
neo sigs ... well if u know ne thing bout audio .. u know they are outstanding
atomics .. also amazing woofers all around their entire lineup of drivers
mts - arent meant for daily driving but if ur burping them in comp .. one of the best
dd - best sub made hands down .. IMHO
solo x's - they dont sound bad but they dont sound good .. enclosed and powered properly ... they get extremely loud and have serious excursion if ur into that kind of thing
mike london i have to agree with you but atomics apxx can outperform the shocker neo sig i seen it,
the regular apx was made to compete with the shocker neo sig,
the pxx was made to destroy the shocker neo sig and to have some good show while ur trowin 30k at burps to a atomic 18 inch apxx, now atomic want to built the ultimate beast so wait till the apxxx gets out,
but i dont think dd its the best sub, for me the jl audio w7 it was the best sub ever made why?? because it have lots of expirence the jl audio changed the way we looked at subs, back in the day all subs were made for spl or daily drivin but the team at jl audio took like years for research they developed the jl audio w series from the ugly black cones with the round thing in the middle dude all the manufactures wanted to be just like jl audio, infact jl audio havent updated the jl audio and its still the king for subwoofers, the jl audio have like 5-6 years since they came out and they havent been too much updated or remaked, and still sony, piooner, alpine, kicker ( the solo x wanted to compete with the w7 but cant even win in sql only for spl) even the mtx 9500that supposed to beat the jl audio w7, plus the jl's are know for ultimate sound quiality and super good spl, and they are not too power hungry , the jl audio u can hit like around 150 db's with a single 13w7 in a ho box with a jl audio 1k/1 and tell me where u can see a woofer move alot of air with like 1k rms to it???
jl audio best sub hads down, but all the woofers that i posted in spl can beat the jl audio but not in sound quiality not even the dd's
i think a w7 sounds like kinda muddy and sloppy ... i cant think of the word ... i just wasnt impressed... a jl sub i like is the w6v2 .. other then that i wasnt impressed with any of there line .. build quality .. great ... customer service .. great. .. but i think for so much less money and good warranties through companies u can do better ... my favorite all around sub would have to be the idmax 12 ... best sub ive ever heard IMO ... not to expensive ... it was given 1000 watts and took it like a champ ... no problem ... and was loud and sounded fantastic...
snd yes u right a again the jl audio 13w7 has some strange sound , it sounds weird but for me and alot of people that why they sound unique no other woofer have its own sound and its easy to wrok with the jl audio, they will get loud in almost any enclousure
Ok i have a few questions...need help so please answer....ok...if i buy a line out converter...can i just hook it up near the rear speakers...like splice into them...or should i go behind the Head unit and splice them into the speaker wires...and one more question....does anyone know where to get a wiring diagram with color codes for a 2003 Doddge Durango SLT...or if ya dont' wanna do that then...where should i wire the remote turn on wire...and i need steps to do that for...and since i have a stock radio... i need to know the best place to hook the remote wire into too..thanx..
taylor cox, u cant do thta with a stock hu. you need rca outsm and i dont think many, if any, have rca jacks in them. remote wires, just signlas the amp to turn on... just take a little piece of wire from your power... or get aftermarket.
i WOULD LOVE to see an IDMAX or a W7 outperform a DD9100 series.
it is just not gonna happen. i know price has nothing to do with performance(to a certain degree) but the 9100 isn't second in price to the 9900 b/c it looks good. lol
the 9100 would kill the W7 in sound....even if it sounded ANYTHING like a 2500!!!! beleive me i know.
and the idmax....just doesn't have the excursion to keep up with the 9100 for those loooows.
muddy i agree with you .. im just going on what ive heard personally .. ive never heard a 9100 perform .. just through videos on roe or from word of mouth
i would love to hear some of those woofers just because there has never been a bad review about them ever ...
Pelon is a a#%-clown. He is just dissing MTX because they are a piopular brand. The mtx 9500 is a top 5 SPL sub. Anyone who says it is not is just showing off their lack of understanding of specs or never heard them before
top 5? thats not a true statement ... ive worked with those subs and they are no where near top 5 ... average - good spl at that but no where near some woofers ... id put it top 10 maybe .. depending on enclosure and power ...
hahahah re u serious??? u think the matx 9500 its better sub than jlw7 because can handle more power???? too bad the jl audio can only take 2k max, but u know it will get loud the dd its a very nice sub and yes it will outperfomr the jl audio w7 but i think the jl audio will deserve some better reputation by the experience of the subwoofer
