2 dvc 2ohm subs at 1ohm mono??

according to the12volt.com I can run my 2 dvc 2ohm subs at 1 ohm mono. either way I run them (series/parallel or series) now i'm really comfused. any help?

you cant (2)dvc subs can only wire to a 2 or 8 ohm load

Thats what i thought but i swear it says "recommended amplifier: stable at 2ohms or 1ohm mono"

dont pay attention to that. the diagram below it shows that it get connected to a 2 ohm load. that just means that you can get an amp that is 1 ohm mono, because it will still put out power @ 2 ohms.

like

1600 watts @ 1 ohm
1000 watts @ 2 ohm --- it still will put out watts at 2 ohms.

dont pay any attention to that, just concentrate on the 'load' that it makes

alright cool. Thats what i thought too. something like that could throw someone off quick.
