I dont know too much about car audio but today my friend hooked up some subs for me. Everything was working fine but after about an hour the subs stopped working. It turns out that the 2 fuses on the amp labeled "20" blew. I replaced them and they blew again right away. Does anybody know what is causing this? Thanks i appreciate it..

Most of the time when the fuse blows it indicates faulty transistors in the amp. I hope when you disconnected the ground wire, you didn't try to turn on the amp causing the amp to ground itself through the RCAs...

It's possible, but highly unlikely.
