I just installed a new HU in my 99 civic, everything works fine on the unit, but now my driver side door either stays locked or open(randomly). I know that the remote unlock feature works through the stock CD player. Can anyone tell me how to wire whatever I need to wire so my door will work properly.
BTW - The driver side door wont allow me to freely lock or unlock the door.
um i dont know what they are acalled but my friends girl put a deck in a malibu and she had to get this interface box that replaced the fAactory electronics from her factory cd player so everything would work you might have to get one too ask a local carstereo shop
The civic factory deck has nothing to do with the keyless/doorlock functions. the best thing to do in replug your factory deck back in and see if the problem goes away. if not its sumthing else. Malibu and GM cars alltogether are a different story. as far as the civic goes the deck doesnt control annything in the car
