2 10" type R or 1 10"X is he refering to the type X is as loud as 2 R's? nope no way but the type X does sound he*ck of alot better then the R it has amazing SQ it competes with the W7. If id u id get the X the R go louder not by a whole lot though. Heres a sayin if u go in competitions get the R's if its just for everyday drivin get a X 2 10" or 12 type X and a orion 2500D amp those would go very good together
