Sunday, June 25, 2006 - 07:35 GMT make the port 32" long, that will make it tuned to 35hz.

Sunday, June 25, 2006 - 07:45 GMT well i'm 16 so maybe you shouldn't be listening to me but i've built several well made boxes. i saw your pic and it says your box is 28" deep? if that's the case and you want it at 38hz, then make it 18" long. if it's still only 23" deep then make it 26" long for 38hz. btw, if it's 28" deep then your box would be about 7.5 cu ft. this thing should frigggin slam!

Sunday, June 25, 2006 - 07:51 GMT your last pic says it's already 28" deep. 6 cu ft is plenty of space for two 12's, and 7.5 cu ft is about the limit but for 15's... also, you want an amp with a subsonic filter and set it to whatever you tune your box to to avoid over excursion with a box that big

Sunday, June 25, 2006 - 07:58 GMT okay so after all that, keep your original demensions except for that little 2.5" peice and make it 6" so you don't get any rattle.

Sunday, June 25, 2006 - 08:01 GMT that little of peice will probably rattle. it's hard to secure it to everything. i've heard from multiple people that every peice should be at least 5".
