sry if this box sucks.. its my first one so uk...but is this a good box for 2 12" CVRs... i'm goin to put them in a buick regal... i only want it @ 38hz ...if theres some thing i should change plz let me know...i'm tryin to get as much bass out of them as i can but still want at least a lil bit of sq...thanks for the help

that should be super loud with that big of port. might suck sq wise tho. i'd tune to 32hz or 35hz personally but other wise it looks good.

would makin the port 11" wide be any better or is that good enough?... and is there many songs that go lower then 38hz......and also i like to push alot of air around so you can feel it threw your body.. is this gunna be good enough?

40"x 23" 14.5... the wall on the port thats closest to the sub goes in 22.25" then turns the the left 2.3"... i'm useing 3/4 board... with out the left port wall it would be 6.227 cu.... should i go smaller or bigger or leave it?

make the port 32" long, that will make it tuned to 35hz.

you think i will need it tho... and is my box @ 38hz the way it is?.. i'm 17 and doin this on my own so sry if this is all chingerd up

and should these subs even be ported or sealed...if i go with seal it will save me alot more time prolly.... but i wanna pound... rite now i got them in like a 1.22 seal box for each and that just ain't cuttin it for me

well i'm 16 so maybe you shouldn't be listening to me but i've built several well made boxes.

i saw your pic and it says your box is 28" deep?

if that's the case and you want it at 38hz, then make it 18" long.

if it's still only 23" deep then make it 26" long for 38hz.

btw, if it's 28" deep then your box would be about 7.5 cu ft. this thing should frigggin slam!

well i can't make it any deep.. but i sure as f*ck can make it wider...maybe about 50-53" wide

your last pic says it's already 28" deep. 6 cu ft is plenty of space for two 12's, and 7.5 cu ft is about the limit but for 15's...

also, you want an amp with a subsonic filter and set it to whatever you tune your box to to avoid over excursion with a box that big

my box is 23"deep.. sry bout that...i have a thunder 81000D to them and it makes them pound pretty damn good for being in the box that they are in...

okay so after all that, keep your original demensions except for that little 2.5" peice and make it 6" so you don't get any rattle.

that little of peice will probably rattle. it's hard to secure it to everything. i've heard from multiple people that every peice should be at least 5".
