How many watts?

My recommendation: Volfenhag 1600 watt amp off ebay, like $158 shipped.

It kicks pretty hard.

avoid volfenahg, sony, boss, legacy, and any of the other flea market brands.

for two Comps, look at a JBL BP300.1
that'd give each sub 150 watts, which is about all they are rated to accept anyway.
good match, and solid power from a reliable product.

You could go with a Rockford Fosgate AMP. I have always liked the quality of AMPS they produce. Make sure you stay away from off-brand AMPs. (sony, boss, legacy) like what glasswolf said.

Ghost you make me rofl, your a joke mate you've obviously not heard a proper system, your legacy amp puts out a MAXIMUM of 640w RMS when bridged to one channel and run at 2ohms and even then it sounds s'hit, 2400w ha your just another sucker that fell for the big numbers. lol rofl.

in all seriousness, two comp series 12" subs, that'd be 300 watts total.
the JBL BP300.1 is in your price range and will do a great job for those subs.
