has anyone ever bought an "as is" item or subwoofer off of ebay before? if you did, how did it go, what was the product like and who did you buy it from (if you remember)

Unless you can and are willing to fix the item dont do it. Most as is items will be broken. Thats why there cheap.

hmmm. it says it doesnt work

but if u do get it fixed (i dont know whats wrong with it) you could have saved urself alot of money! :-) or sell it for some

it depends on how bad. take it to a shop and see how much it would be..? i wouldnt know how to fix it urself, it would be better to put it in the hands of some pros that have the right equip and know how to fix them... IMO

go to the link. and copy and paste the model # in the search bar. or just go to ebay, and type in type-r 10" and there are a ton of "as-is" items being sold. u cant miss it
