probably not. more airspace means less SPL.. more air to compress with the subs. keeping them in the cabin of the truck will be louder. the only reason to use the bed is if you have more subs than you have room in the cab. I did an 84 toyota regular cab once with four Orion 15" in the bed once. loud as hell.. but not the best setup for SQ
