I was going to get a jbl bp 600.1 amp for my 2 12w3's but it supposably only has 300 rms... if thats true wouldnt it only put 150w's into each sub...when the rms for the subs are 250-300???

300 watts @ 4 ohms

600 Watts @ 2 ohms

if you have two 4 ohm subs, you put one sub to each of theamp's two speaker terminal pairs.
that'll be a 2 ohm load, and 300wRMS per sub for 600watts total.
