my friend wants a neon light in his box so he bought one and it plugs into the cigarette outlet and i was wondering if i could just cut that off and like put the power in the remote wire of his amp and the ground in the ground? or how should i wire it if that doesnt work?
yea it'll work. cigarette lighters are 12 volt too. Even stuff that plugs in the wall that has an adapter on it that says it reduces it to 12 volts u can wire to your car. I'm puttin a strobe light in my intrepid!!:D
i had one for my integra way back when. it was hot i had mine on a toggle with my amp on a different toggle i mounted it right by my shifter..worked perfect till i totalled it lol
