This is really simple.

Pick one.
Which would you prefer if you were given a choice to receive any sub model for free.

Don't Go OT.
Don't Jack the thread.
Don't be stupid.
Arguing is permitted.:-)

Please give the Sub Model, Size, the amount Of Power, and the Reason why. :-):-O:-):-O
----------------------------------------------------

OBVIOUSLY you know what i am going to pick.

Upload
9100 series - 12 inch
I would give it 1300wRMS from my DLS A6
I pick this b/c it is DD's Ultimate SQ woofer, and it will get severely loud.

NEXT!!....

only reason i don't want a z2 amp is you need a 16v setup to really utilize that amp.

don't just base that on the Fs.

the DD specs aren't accurate once the sub has been broken in.
they test all their subs in car to be loud down to past 20hz.:-)

i know DD gets loww, both of us know that... but lower than a SSX... hmmm

just saying that a lower FS is just where it tends to peak alot more.. I know the DD will still play lower than its FS, so will a SSX also...
:-)

New XXX 18" - Idk what its rms is, but I'd be giving it that either by Zapco or US amps. Why? Because I think the sub is just badass, and would be plenty if not more than I needed.

lilrob you have very high expectations out of your w7.. :-O

the last part of the run-on sentance i did not understand...

40hz box has PLENTY of SQ, more than people think..
40hz is still considerded tuned loww.

im going to have to agree with B and muddy (even tho theres a good chance muddy likes guys...).

not a fan of the W7 at all. its not even close to an SSi in sq, output, or price...in my opinion. :-) does anyone on here have a 91xx series DD? because those and W7s arnt even in the same book more or less same page.

i would KILL JAKE PAPA for a 9100 series DD.:-)

40hz is tuned low. and you must consider that in a car's environment. the box actually is tuned lower.
so you are really getting like a 36-40hz tune, due to the air constrictions in the trunk.:-)
