Bronze Member Username: BassgalorePost Number: 55 Registered: Nov-04 | I am actually at the checkout page of ascendant audio now looking at ordering 2 of the midrange 6.5's and an assasin 10. First off would this sound good in my quad cab ram? Second, is it possible to run the sub off my factory radio (amped of course). Third, The web site has 200w for recommended and 350w rms...which does the sub crave? And last but no least, Would an after-market radio make a BIG sound difference or would it be ok to put that off? Thanks |

Bronze Member Username: BassgalorePost Number: 69 Registered: Nov-04 | I have found out that it can be done correctly. And just to clarify the 6.5 AA will go in the back doors and within a month (probably less) i will purchase the components for the front doors and a new HU |

Gold Member Username: 54danny54Betsy layne, Kentucky..GO... USA duh Post Number: 2665 Registered: Nov-04 | ok...get an aftermarket radio...it DOES make a difference. Go with 05 model alpine, clarion, pioneer premier, kenwood excelon, or eclipse. yes it will sound good in a quad cab ram. and give it more like 350-400 watts |
Bronze Member Username: Genocyde21Post Number: 34 Registered: Apr-06 | For the head unit, i would go with pioneer. I have a alpine in my truck, don't get me wrong, its great. But i can't tweak the music like i used to do with my old pioneer... Pioneer u can control highs, mids, lows. Not with my alpine... |
