how do you wire two 500/1 to a 15sx. and how hard would it be

one to each voice coil.. jus wire in parallel i believe

if that is a dual voice coil, then use one per voice coil, and make sure gains are as close to same on each amp

measure the output from the speaker terminals, make sure they are the same output from both amplifiers..

play a 60hz test tone, and measure the AC voltages on each! Hook each amp up to each vc... thats it!

i ran 2 500/1's on my 13W7 a while back. just make sure all adjustments are the same for both amps.

check out the Gain setting/Input Sensitivity Tutorial on www.JLAudio.com for more info.

also B, JL says to use a 50Hz tone. not sure how playing a 60 would change things, but JL's Voltages are based off a 50Hz tone being played.

any voltage can be used as a refrence voltage... but if JL says 50hz, then use that...

ok thanks, i was about to trade my 1000/1 for two 500/1's and some money back because i have two cars so i want to be able to switch amps around and be able to have one in each car if i want.

yeah trade it two jl 500/1s would be louder
