plz tell me which board to use for two type r? also tell me hows a mdf lookk alike. actually in india, particle board is used for enclosures. so telll me something abt mdf, may be i'll be able find. also, plz tell me the dimension!s for two type r two get a car nn ground shaking bass with reasonable SQ. size doesnt matter.

make ur box big as u can an use a slot port an tune it @ 24hz threw 30hz an it wil pound an still sound go0d

only birch wood is good for a particle type. Use high density particle if any but you need to resin the entire thing up to seal up any leaks or weakness's between the layers of particle board. MDF is a good wood to use that does not have pressed layers that so easily seperate and is cheap.

i prefer medium density particle board. i don't care for mdf much

MAtes, I also asked to tell me something about the MDF board, sO i can find it out in the market.
