are you the same tyler who a couple weeks ago was asking about the same question, and who first said you were powering the same sub with a power acoustic amp, then changed your story and said it was a sony xplode amp? and if you are the same person didn't you say you hit like 157db with your l7 and sony amp, but the next day said you ordered that kicker 1500 amp?
you need two dual 2 ohm subs to get full power out of that amplifier ... 2 dual 4 ohm subs can be wired to 1 ohm .. and that amp isnt stable ... at 1 ohm
holler..what are you talking about? he said he wanted 1 L7, so give him useful information. 1 dual 4 ohm can be wired to 2 ohms. so if you get 1 dual 4 ohm L7, it would work with that amp. if that amp is supposed to be 1500rms at 1 ohm, then it should be 750 rms at 2 ohms. then they would be perfect for eachother...as long as that is the right specs for the amp.
that amps 1500w @ 2ohm, the new kicker amps aren't 1ohm stable. so that amp will see 500w+ over the rms. i wouldn't do it, get another amp that's 750-1000wrms at 2ohm and you'd be good.
