OKay, The jl box i made has NO port noise at all. Because they were 4" flared ports. But when i make slot ports, i get pn like crazy. I had that 12" eclipse sw6, with that box which had a 4"wide port that was 14.5" high. It had port noise, and there wasn't much air being moved. Then i went to autosound, and they had thier showroom with fiberglass boxes built in the wall. the slot ports were not too big on the L7's, W6's, and G5's, and there was no pn at all. It made me mad. I think i should sand the ends of my slot ports, because the eclipse box was rough from glue and bad cuts.(btw i am going to use my grandpa's milling machine to cut from now on, and if you know what that is you would know it cuts straighter than a table saw). what should i do to fix this?
