i am using the pioneer avh-p5700 dvd and i wasn't to happy with the sound. i added a audiocontrol 6xs xover and the sound just came alive. i love that crossover. it takes any preout voltage you have and converts it up to 13v if necessary.

Chad- where'd u get that audiocontrol? and how much? You think this would help with my LOC? b/c right now my 15s sound really good with a pioneer HU, but not as good or loud with the LOC and factory HU.

well if you want to keep your stock hu then you don't need the audiocontrol 6xs xover. what you need is one of these.

I've already got a LOC tho, but it doesnt get as loud w/ the RCAs from the LOC hooked up to the amp as it does with a Pioneer HU hookd up. I was j/w if i ran the RCAs from the LOC to the audiocontrol, and then used the audiocontrol to make the preout voltage about 5v if it would sound louder/better. b/c right now i think that the reason it doesnt get as loud is b/c the preout voltage of the LOC i have is really low. but i could be wrong, could that be a problem?

that would work. if its just for the bass then you can get the audiocontrol epicenter. that brings out the bass in your system.
