im looking for a sub for an 800wrms amp. thats true watts. I want to get 1 12" or possibly a 15". I want a sub that will have reallly good sq in a box tuned to 30 - 35. somewhere low anyways.

budget is about 250

make sure yours is tuned low...i got rid of mine mostly because of the sq. I should have tried a new box, but i didnt want to mess around with them anymore. IMO, sealed would be a wayyyy better idea, because the subs have bad sq.

Steven u fu*ked up by not tryin a lower tuned box cuz they sound really good in a low tuned box. Ya they do suck in a high tuned enclosure i know i tried a 40hz tuned one then i went to 30hz and they sound so clean, low, and loud, im gonna have a couple of sheets of 3/4" mdf by next week and im gonna tune both to 32hz.

O by the way i tried sealed also and in my opinion they dont do well in sealed at all.
