I'm building a ported box that's going to be 1.3 net cu. ft. and I'm trying to figure out my port dimensions to tune it to 32 hz, but it's frustrating as hell because every port calculator gives me different results. and why is it that if you increase the width and height of the port, the length increses also? shouldn't it be the other way around????

WHOA, that took like 45 seconds. I'm shootin for about 1" high and about 16" wide. It's a 12" type r, so the xmax is 18mm I believe, and displacement is about .4 cu.ft. thanks guys.

Uhh, You cant use a 16x1 port can you? You don't maintain the 9:1 ratio. I would recommend a 16x2. Thats 8:1.
