of the amp lol i just took it out of a powered sub so its just bass and bit of clarity and im onli 11

dude you need to have a converter and have a converter with the right amount of amps on it... you can't hook up a car amp to yoru light socket....

Any of these subs would be great...
As for box designs, I'd say maybe 1.8cuft tuned to 32hz

no, for 1 those are all car audio subwoofers and aren't suited for home use. all car subs can be used in the home, but wont sound as good as home subwoofers. im guessing its not 550w rms and that was a max number. if i were to get a car sub to put in the home, i would choose an assassin because your amp is probably around 250w rms and the assassin has a very low Fs which is good for home use. also if you were to put it in a ported box, you should make it a BIG box tuned REALLY low.

yeah if you're looking for a HT sub get the Dayton MKIII or get the Peerless 830500 XLS 12.
